Who operates the service
These Terms of Service are an agreement between you and Dot Fun Labs Pvt. Ltd., a company registered in Singapore (“people.fun”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), concerning the people.fun website, waitlist, and features made available through our platform (the “Service”).
By accepting these Terms when signing in or accessing a feature that presents them for acceptance, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not create an account or use those features. Our Privacy Policy explains how we process personal data.
Features may be subject to additional terms presented before you use them. If they conflict with these Terms, the feature-specific terms govern that feature to the extent of the conflict.
Eligibility and account security
You must be at least 18, have legal capacity to enter this agreement, and use the Service only where your use is lawful. If acting for an organization, you must have authority to bind it. You must not use the Service in violation of applicable sanctions or other legal restrictions, or misrepresent your location to evade restrictions.
Keep your account information accurate and protect your social sign-in accounts, wallet, devices, and session credentials. Only connect accounts and wallets you are authorized to use. Tell us promptly at support@people.fun if you suspect unauthorized access. You are responsible for instructions you authorize; you are not responsible merely because an unauthorized action occurred where applicable law provides otherwise.
Signing in through different providers may create separate identities unless supported account linking is completed. Do not assume that accounts or balances will merge automatically.
Waitlist and private beta
Joining the waitlist records your interest and creates an authentication identity through Turnkey. It does not by itself create an embedded Main wallet, fund a portfolio, authorize trading, or guarantee access. An expired sign-in session does not remove your signup.
We may select users for access, limit availability by location or eligibility, and change or discontinue beta features. A waitlist confirmation is not a promise of a launch date, allocation, reward, token distribution, or financial return.
The wallet, portfolio, and trading provisions below apply only when the relevant features are enabled for you. Beta features may be incomplete, contain errors, or change substantially.
Creator signals and performance
people.fun may analyze public creator content, including X posts, using automated systems and AI to derive signals and model portfolio allocations. A public statement can be ambiguous, outdated, sarcastic, or wrongly interpreted; a token or reference may be incorrectly identified. Signals are our system’s interpretations.
A creator’s appearance on people.fun does not establish that they participate in, endorse, sponsor, or authorize the Service, or that they own the displayed assets. Model portfolios do not represent verified creator holdings or direct trading instructions from that creator.
Model, simulated, or historical performance is different from actual user results. It may omit real execution conditions and cannot demonstrate that a trade could have been made at the displayed price. Fees, spreads, slippage, liquidity, timing, and failed transactions can materially change results. Historical performance does not predict future results.
Content and allocations are not personalized investment, legal, or tax advice, or a representation that an asset or strategy is suitable for you. You must independently assess risks and obtain qualified advice when needed. Nothing in these Terms determines or changes any regulatory obligation that applies to us or the Service.
Wallets and permissions
When enabled, onboarding creates a Main wallet within your Turnkey account; a separate creator portfolio wallet is created when you first deposit into that portfolio. Connecting an external wallet for sign-in is distinct from creating or funding these wallets.
Portfolio features may require you to authorize a backend credential with defined permissions, such as creating portfolio wallets and signing supported transfers or swaps. Those permissions must be presented through the relevant onboarding or authorization flow. These Terms alone do not grant a signing credential or authorize an on-chain transfer.
Once authorized, supported actions may execute without a separate wallet approval for each transaction. Understand the scope and duration of permissions before granting them. Signing out, clearing browser data, or allowing a login session to expire does not necessarily revoke a delegated credential or stop portfolio automation.
Your first deposit into a creator portfolio enables automatic trading for that portfolio by default. Later deposits preserve your existing automation setting. Review the deposit confirmation and automation controls before funding a portfolio.
Disabling automatic rebalancing stops future automatic scheduling under that setting; it does not necessarily revoke other permissions or cancel actions already queued or transactions already submitted. Contact support if you need help identifying or revoking permissions. Revocation cannot reverse confirmed blockchain transactions.
Deposits, rebalancing, and withdrawals
Supported features may transfer assets from Main to a portfolio wallet, rebalance assets toward a target allocation, or sell portfolio assets and return supported proceeds to Main. A transfer to Main is distinct from an external withdrawal. Available assets, routes, minimums, limits, and controls are those shown for the relevant feature.
Check the asset, network, destination, amount, permissions, and any displayed costs before authorizing an action. Blockchain transactions may be irreversible. We cannot guarantee recovery of assets sent to the wrong address or network.
A portfolio action may involve multiple transactions rather than one atomic operation. Some steps may succeed while others fail, leaving a partial allocation or withdrawal. Congestion, stale prices, limited liquidity, slippage, routing failures, third-party outages, and insufficient balances can delay or prevent execution.
An interface error or timeout does not prove that an on-chain action failed. Check confirmed transaction status before retrying. We do not guarantee execution at a quoted price, exact target weights, completion time, or continuous availability of a withdrawal route.
Digital asset risks, fees, and taxes
Digital assets are highly speculative. You may lose the entire amount you commit. Risks include extreme price movements, fraud, market manipulation, illiquid markets, smart-contract exploits, compromised credentials, blockchain failures, and changes in law. Stablecoins can lose their peg; wrapped, bridged, or other represented assets can introduce additional issuer and infrastructure risks.
Do not commit funds you cannot afford to lose. We do not guarantee returns, capital protection, insurance, or recovery of lost assets.
Applicable platform charges will be disclosed before you authorize a chargeable feature or transaction. Network costs, account creation costs, third-party fees, spreads, and slippage may also apply. Any fee sponsorship or subsidy may change prospectively and does not make trading risk-free. Completed network and third-party charges may not be recoverable.
You are responsible for determining and meeting your tax and reporting obligations. Information displayed by the Service is not a substitute for your own records or professional tax advice.
Acceptable use
You must not use the Service to:
- Commit fraud, impersonate another person, launder funds, manipulate markets, or violate applicable law or third-party rights.
- Steal credentials, access another account without authority, exploit a vulnerability, or interfere with systems, networks, or other users.
- Evade access controls or limits, submit misleading support or account information, or use automated traffic that disrupts the Service.
- Upload malicious code or distribute unlawful, infringing, or abusive material through any feature that accepts submissions.
Report suspected security issues privately to support@people.fun and avoid accessing data or assets that are not yours.
Content and intellectual property
We and our licensors retain rights in the Service’s software, branding, design, and original content. Subject to these Terms, you may access and use the Service for its intended purposes. These Terms do not transfer ownership of our intellectual property to you.
Creators and other third parties retain their rights in their names, images, posts, trademarks, and content. Illustrations and stylized portraits do not imply affiliation or endorsement. Contact us with a rights concern and enough information to identify the material and your claim.
You retain rights in content you submit to us. You permit us to use that content only as reasonably necessary to provide the requested service, address your submission, and meet legal obligations, subject to our Privacy Policy. Do not submit material you lack authority to provide.
Third-party services
The Service depends on independent authentication providers, wallet infrastructure, blockchains, market data, AI services, transaction routing, and other providers. Their terms and privacy policies may also apply to your interactions with them.
We do not control independent networks or providers and cannot guarantee their availability, security, data accuracy, or continued support for an asset or feature. Links and integrations are not assurances of safety or endorsement.
Availability and disclaimers
To the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation, complete or current market data, or a particular financial outcome.
We may maintain, update, restrict, or discontinue parts of the Service. Where reasonably practicable, we will give notice of changes that materially affect active users. This does not override any notice, remedy, or service obligation imposed by applicable law.
Responsibility and limitations
To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost opportunities or anticipated profits, arising from use of the Service. We are not responsible for losses caused solely by circumstances outside our reasonable control, such as independent blockchain failures or instructions you authorize to an incorrect destination.
These provisions do not exclude or limit liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability or statutory right that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. They do not excuse our failure to comply with obligations imposed by applicable law.
Suspension and ending use
You may stop using the Service at any time and contact support about your account. Before ending use of portfolio features, review active instructions, balances, and delegated permissions. Closing a browser or account does not reverse blockchain transactions.
We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to address a breach of these Terms, suspected abuse, security concerns, legal requirements, or discontinuation of a feature. Where lawful and reasonably practicable, we will explain the restriction and relevant next steps. Suspension does not transfer ownership of your assets to us or guarantee immediate liquidity or access through third parties.
Provisions concerning accrued obligations, intellectual property, liability, disputes, and matters that by their nature should survive remain applicable after use ends.
Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, excluding its conflict-of-laws rules. The courts of Singapore have non-exclusive jurisdiction over disputes relating to these Terms or the Service.
Nothing in these Terms removes mandatory protections under the law applicable to you or prevents you from bringing a claim in a court that applicable law entitles you to use. Please contact support@people.fun first so we can try to resolve a concern informally.
Changes and contact
We may revise these Terms and will identify the latest version by the date above. For material changes affecting existing users, we will provide reasonable notice and seek renewed acceptance where required. Changes do not retroactively remove rights relating to a dispute that has already arisen.
If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law. A failure to enforce a provision does not waive it. These Terms and applicable feature terms form the agreement concerning the Service, subject to mandatory law.
